Three Generations of Care
Bob Barham (chiropractor) opened our first practice in 1976. Although he has now retired, his son and grandson – chiropractors Chris Barham and Daniel Barham – have taken over the reins at the family practice. With multiple locations throughout South East Queensland, including in Albany Creek, Toowoomba and Wavell Heights, we make getting the care you need convenient and accessible through extended opening hours during the week – we are also open on Saturdays. And to make things easy for you, we process payments using HICAPS.

Meet Dr Richard Burgess
Originally from the Sunshine Coast, I’ve been in family and pet chiropractic practices around Queensland and internationally in New Zealand. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, I was an international flight attendant with Virgin where my lust for travel and other cultures began; I have had the absolute luck to visit well over sixty countries.
Travel aside, I adore being in the ocean, wine, running, dogs and my many nieces and nephews. I’ve been involved with the Chiropractic profession since 2014, where I trained at the world renown New Zealand College of Chiropractic. During my University years, I was inspired to become a vitalistic family and animal based chiropractor with a nervous system focus. I’ve gone on to do post University specific training in pregnancy and paediatrics.
Helping people of any age on their unique health journeys, whatever that may be, is always such an honour. My youngest clients have been only hours old (aside from those still in the belly); my eldest has been well into their 90’s. As a member of the rainbow community, I have a strong sense of duty and interest in fellow LGBTQI+ people and their unique needs. I’m really passionate about properly educating my clients on the benefits of Chiropractic care, and normalising young children, pets and the elderly seeing a Chiropractor. I’m excited to meet you and your families!
